But anyway, I'm so happy, cos all the hard work has indeed paid off. All the "No I can't do lunch today, I'm going to the gym" has also paid off. This week, on the treadmill, my aim was to run for as long as I could without stopping, and the longest I ran for was 12 minutes! :) even though it was a slow jog, 12 minutes is a loong time! I have aimed for a distance of 5K and a target of 300 calories to burn each day, although I achieved around 4.40k on average and around 250-260 calories burnt daily.
Targets for next week
- Eat more fruit
- Aim to achieve 5k
- Keep going! :)
- Push myself more on my days off
- Be more organised- get the balance between gym and doing uni work
- charge iPod
- buy new headphones (they are officially bust!)
- update iPod (getting bored of same old songs)

@Lavendar Clouds: Thank you, inshaAllah I will and yes, patience is key :)
awesome job so far! 4 lbs is great! I've been going for 2 weeks now, down 2 lbs but that was just from changing my diet no exercising! You have to believe that you can do it, and if you ever "slip up" own up to it! If you are able to accept a mistake it makes it much easier to move on from it :)
Im tring to lose weight too. Except that im only trying in my head. =\
good effort, keep it up.
=D
If you really want to push yourself, then make a schedule. Each week, slightly increase the amount of time you spend exercising. What happens is that, if you continue going at the same level, your body gets used to it, and so it doesn't have the same effect. Each week (or couple of weeks), try and increase by a few minutes.
Oh and take the stairs at uni :P.
I've been climbing up to the 5/6th floor every day, like 3 times, and already feeling the good effects.
But all the very best of luck with it. The hardest part is sorting yourself out in the mind, and getting the focus, once that's there, it's all a run in the park (/ on the treadmill)
:)
